Union Tech Co., Inc. is headquartered in Houston, TX, and was founded in 1982 as a contract manufacturer for the oil tools industry. Over time, we've expanded horizontally into additional markets, such as the automotive, petro-chemical and power generation industries. Union Tech’s contract manufacturing division works with many world-class organizations to help them manufacture mission-critical components. Our contract manufacturing division partners with several major companies in a number of industries, including oilfield services, nuclear power and consumer products. In 2002, as the company expanded into the automotive parts market, and due to the growing global demand of Union Tech's services in other markets, our owner sought out a location in China to better position the company for the global growth he envisioned. While there, he realized the only way to guarantee the quality Union Tech's customers have come to expect was to personally oversee every aspect of the China plant's day to day operations. To meet this need, he moved to Taicang and now personally oversees every aspect of manufacturing and production, ensuring that the quality of product produced is as high or higher than our U.S. location.
At Union Tech, we specialize in manufacturing "difficult-to-build" components, such as precise-tolerance, time-sensitive and/or extraordinarily-sized products. Our valve division has built valve components for well over 15 years. In recent years, we have engineered and developed our own lines of valve products, which have been installed in applications throughout North America and Asia. Because of our combined engineering and manufacturing expertise, we are able to design valves that are superior in performance and more competitive in price.
